The 2010 Paris Motorshow had all eyes on Lotus as as they surprised the world motoring press by showcasing five new vehicles.

 

Prior to the official start of the Motorshow Lotus held an exclusive launch party at The Louvre Museum showcasing Lotus’ rich motorsport heritage and unveiling their plans for the future.

 

Lotus CEO Dany Bahar addressed the guests including F1 icon Stirling Moss, announcing that Lotus is entering a new era and one by one the Esprit, Elan, Elite, Elise and Eterne concept cars were revealed.

 

At the motorshow, along with the new concept cars, the award-winning Evora S shared centre stage. The Evora S is according to Lotus 'the car we always wanted to build'. The 3.5-litre V6 is home to a Harrop HTV1320 Supercharger featuring Eaton TVS™ technology that was engineered for this application in conjunction with Harrop.

 

The outcome is peak power of 257kw (350PS) at 7000rpm and torque is up to 400Nm at 4500rpm. The official figures show a 0-100km/h time of 4.8secs and a top speed of 277km/h.
