PAST OE PROGRAMS
Harrop’s recognition for design innovation and manufacturing quality performance products is supported by a variety of Original Equipment (OE) supply programs throughout the last 30 years. Products and services have ranged from engine components, performance brake systems, driveline systems and supercharger assemblies.
Whilst some of the below programs are no longer active, we continue to supply parts and partner with several Original Equipment manufacturers globally.
Holden Special Vehicles
Our iconic brake program with Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) kicked off from our race heritage and partnership with Holden Racing Team in the 1970’s and 1980’s, before Ron became chief engineer for the Holden Racing Team in the 1990’s. Taking our race pedigree to the performance division of the Holden brand was a natural evolution, designing and manufacturing a combination of high-performance brake systems over the years for HSV variants delivered from factory.
Ford Performance Vehicles
In 2009, Harrop designed the first TVS1900 Supercharger for Ford Performance Vehicle (FPV) in Australia for the locally developed ‘Miami’ factory supercharged V8 using the Coyote 5.0 platform, which was released into the Ford Performance Vehicles range in 2010 and remained the Ford OEM powertrain of choice for the late model FG V8 range.
Lotus Cars
Also launching in 2009, Harrop were a key supply partner for Lotus Cars in their launch of the potent Evora S platform, powered by a stunning 3.5L V6 featuring a Harrop HTV1320 Supercharger from factory. This led to future Supercharger programs in 2012 on the Lotus Exige platform with the same 2GR-FE V6 engine package. In 2022 Harrop was selected to supply Lotus Motorsport for their FIA homologated GT4 Emira program featuring our Intercooled TVS1900 Supercharger for global racing series.
Ford Racing USA
In 2006, Harrop was a key supplier to Roush and Ford Racing USA for their TVS2300 Supercharger program for the legendary GT500 Mustang which would become one of the very first programs featuring Eaton TVS technology.
Torque Enterprises
Not necessarily fast but built to perform, the Torque Titan is an underground utility vehicle that uses a custom Harrop Supercharger to achieve its engine performance specifications. Manufactured by Torque Enterprises in Queensland the Titan has proven to be popular on mine sites with an innovative explosion protected diesel engine system.
