Harrop are proud sponsors of the Lotus Car Club of Victoria (LCV) and hosted their September members meeting. With strong ties to the Lotus Community as both an OE supplier of superchargers and through our affiliation with Simply Sports Cars, Harrop were proud to host the club.
Having hosted the club in 2015, it was great to see some familiar faces amongst LCV members, as well as meet plenty of new ones and take them on their first tour of our facility. The clubs passion for performance and the Australian manufacturing industry was phenomenal and a real pleasure for the Harrop team. It was a great night and opportunity for Harrop to showcase our diversity and capabilities in terms of design and development, all the way through to machining, assembly and vehicle fitment in Harrop Performance Centre.
A real highlight was club member Harry Zhao’s Lotus Exige S on display, featuring;
• Built 2GR engine with forged internals
• Harrop intercooled TVS1900 Supercharger kit
• Komotec exhaust
• Quaife LSD
• Nitron shocks
• Cup R style C/F wing and lid
• Forgeline GA3R wheels
• Recaro seat and 6 point harness
The night ended with the exciting announcement of Harrop Performance Centre’s appointment as the official Victorian agent for Simply Sports Cars (SSC). With the ongoing support of SSC, Harrop Performance Centre is immediately capable of servicing Lotus customer needs, from track preparation and servicing through to tuning and the full range of aftermarket upgrades.
